LIMITED WARRANTY

General: The warranties specified herein shall not deprive the Owner of other rights the Owner may have under the manufacturer’s warranty for roofing products, and shall be in addition to the Manufacturer’s Warranty of their product used in your project.

The Contractor (Century Roofing Specialists LLC) shall be expressly responsible for the repair of roof leaks for a period five (5) years on total roof repair, which covers “labor only” as related to the repair or replacement of defects in total roof repair. Labor and Materials will be covered if the materials are not covered by the Manufacturer Warranty. This warranty will cover metal flashing, sealant defects, drip edge for a period of five (5) years following completion of the contract and final approval of roofing permit.

(1): The five (5) year warranty period shall commence on the date of the final building inspection from the appropriate city/county building inspection depart.

(2): Repair or replacement shall include any leaks due to the defects in product or workmanship on metal flashing, sealing, or other roofing product except as noted (shingles, vents, tile, underlayment, etc.) by accompanying warranty from the manufacturer.

(3): Upon notification of roof leaks or defects, the Contractor (Century Roofing Specialists LLC) shall make an inspection of the work, and if it is found to be a defect in workmanship or the result of products (metal flashing, sealants, drip edge) used in the process of roofing or re-roofing, then all necessary repairs shall be made at the Contractor’s expense. However, it is the Owner’s responsibility to notify the Century Roofing Specialists LLC in a timely fashion. If after inspection, the Contractor can state that the leaks had been leaking for an extended period of time, then the Contractor will discuss with the Owner as to how he will proceed.

Nothing in this warranty shall construe liability of Contactor (Century Roofing Specialists LLC) for defects or failure of roofing product as covered in separate manufacturer’s warranty, nor shall the labor necessary to re-roof due to the complete failure of the roofing system be the responsibility of Century Roofing Specialists LLC.
